Stories of the sea. Starfish said of how clinging to someone/some thing, won't make them open to me. Cormorant reminded me that not even wings can fly you away from everything that might hurt you. Crab said that not even claws er hard shells can keep the predators from eating yer gutz out. Slimy shelled creature taught me that crawling yerself into holes tucked away on sides of mountains won't keep you from bein' tracked. Tree spoke of luv; how to root with it, how to grow with it, and how to live and die well with it; all at the exquisitely purposeful pace of trees.
