Play Day, Friday, April 14th.

Today we decided to hitch up the bike trailer and make our way over to SE Swap & Play! Lila and Lorax had a ton of fun and spent the morning playing kitchen witches, and tumbling around in the big foam blocks.

After a morning of play, we shared a raw lunch of cut melon, fresh strawberries, carrots, apples slices with nut butter, and oranges.

After lunch we noticed that the sun was coming in to give us a break from the rain, so we headed outside to the adjacent playground.

On the way we stopped to give our gratitude and offerings of spring blooms to the Mother Goddess, Mary.

At the playground Lorax and Lila's squeals and laughter filled the neighborhood, and brought life to an empty park. They especially loved the challenge of climbing the geo dome, and the thrill of belly spinning on the swings.

All the play of the day made Lila so sleepy! They decided to crawl into the bike trailer and take a short nap.

What a beautiful day, in our neighborhood!
