Nature Immersion Saturday, 3/6
Today's Nature Immersion Saturday took us to Errol Heights Park. This is quite a special forest for our play school community, and is an important part of the Johnson Creek watershed. This watershed is sacred to us and we take the time to know and steward this place well.
The spring plants, wildlife, and sun all came out to play with us today, and we were thankful. We explored the nettles, blossoming berries, and horsetails, the geese and the frogs and the beavers, the multiple ponds, the hidden and off the trail Witches Castle, climbed trees, and enjoyed a sun drenched picnic lunch on the bridge over the creek. Today, was a good day.
Thanks for the forest time friends!
