Today our adventures took us to Sellwood Riverfront Park. We spent the day barefoot and happy, splashing in the river, mucking in mud and sand, climbing trees, picking berries and picnicking, walking the trails, and sun bathing.
We talked about midsummer and looked to the trees to see if we could observe any changes in the tree canopy. Not too many yet! We observed the forest floor to look for fallen leaves, but we mostly just found a handful of bug chomped green leaves. It was concluded that the leaves were eaten by caterpillars, which led to some caterpillar shape shifting play.
Thanks for the play time today friends, I hope you'll enjoy the photo journal from our day!
