Today was all about adventuring out to explore our neighborhood spaces and places in the rain. We were all very excited to find puddles and other such rainy weather treasures. We strolled down our "Main st.", stopping to say hello to friendly and familiar neighborhood folks. The kiddos love the window art displays that are becoming more of a thing on the street.

We decided to hop inside the laundry mat and spent a very entertaining 20 minutes in there just watching the machines work. I think the joy that the kiddos got from this simple activity brightened the day for every person in the place.

We visited the market to break for lunch at our favorite roof top spot, taking a few moments to drool over the sweet treat display while eating bananas. After lunch walked on down to the library for some cuddly reading time.

Everyone got lots of practice with buttons and such as the day was full of rainy downpours and we had to take our rain gear on and off every time we transitioned. They helped each other when a friend got stuck, and were all very kind in making sure we were all well protected from the rain.

After the library we walked on to SE Swap & Play for a very playful afternoon at the indoor and outdoor playgrounds. On the way there we stopped to honor the Goddess and pray for blessings on the coming autumn season, laying a few treasures at her feet as well, in good faith.
