Tuesdays are one of my favorite days! Tuesdays, are a special day for Lorax and I. We spend the day 1 on 1, exploring the forest and adventuring together.

This Tuesday, after a boring morning meeting, we packed up our backpacks with enough snacks for the day and headed out.

There was so much to notice, observe, and sense in the forest this week, as well as much to offer blessings for. We hiked, picnicked, and explored through the day stopping often to follow side trials and follow streams. We found signs of fire, several stands of blooming mushrooms, wildlife, and so much more!

At the end of our day in the forest we left an alter at the base of a tree we had climbed into for cuddling and meditation time, and wished this forest a restful fall and winter season.

We spent the late afternoon and early evening splashing, swimming, and picnicking at the Willamette river and watching the sun set. We offer more blessings and gratitude for having spent another day together, wild and free.
