Today we continued our work of learning how to harvest and process Autumn abundance. After a morning harvest of brown turkey figs, we decided to save a portion of them for snacking and set the rest up for making fig candies.
After hearth sessions, Lila took spent the rest of the morning to play and coo with Baby Z. I was blessed to observe a very nurturing side of Lila and the quiet gentle time they took with the babe. It was a most sweet and simple pleasure for all of us.
We spent the afternoon exploring outside and connecting with the plant peoples of the land we roamed.
