Today during our weekly swim time at Kennedy School, we were treated to a lovely fall rain and wind storm. How blissful to be in the comfort of an outdoor pool of warm water with our friends while cold, rainy, and windy weather blows around us.
After swimming we decided to spend our afternoon park play at Laurelhurst Park. We touched and took in fall with all of our senses, watching as fall fell. We played beneath yellow, red, and orange tree canopies as the leaves spun out on in their dance to meet the ground, found mud puddles for splashing in, acorns to inspect, and collected nature treasures for our end of day alter,
At the playground, we were excited to connect with new friends and families who also refused to let grey skies or rainy weather keep them indoors.
