Monday at the Moon's Nest means adventure day, so we packed our bags, hopped on the Max, and headed out for Washington Park for some adventuring and exploration.

With the beautiful and sunny skies at our backs, we spent the day blissfully playing at Portland Children's Museum Outdoor Adventure playground, and hiking through the arboretum.

Lots of silly and sweet moments between all were had, and I do believe we all embraced fall a little more fully.

We had all shared a very special moment of watching as Baby Z laid beneath the tree canopy, cooing as the wind danced the leaves and limbs all about. Baby Z laid there for quite some time, content to just watch and be held in the space between the canopy and the soil. And, I think my heart found home in watching the beautiful interaction unfold.
