The days are getting colder here as we settle into mid autumn, and begin our descent into the dark days of winter. Today was bright but still cold, and we gave thanks for the chilly but sunny day.
Today we spent some time making music together and learning about our internal organs and systems. We had such a sweet hearth share and worked together to make our lunch soup.
On our afternoon walk around the neighborhood, we did some plant meditations with rose hip, and talked about the kinds of medicine she offers us. We'll be back soon to practice our craft of ceremonial harvesting of her and make some medicines together. With did some more shadow play with the light, and spent an eager and hopeful stretch trying to find some last chance strawberries of the year. They found a few red fruits but were surprised to find that they just don't taste the same without the summer sun.
