We began this lovely day with some morning art, practicing our painting, scissoring, and gluing skills.
After time in the art studio we headed out to catch our bus for the day's adventures. Along the way we stopped to collect some beautifully colored autumn leaves, mushroom hunt, and climb trees in the neighborhood.
We shared lunch on the rooftop of our local market, while enjoying some playtime and meeting some neighborhood friends.
After lunch we hopped back on the bus to take us for a short ride down to Johnson creek on the Springwater, and spent the afternoon exploring the forest and creek. It was a lovely dry and sunny day, and not too cold for us. We had a great time picnicking, singing songs, climbing, watching for birds, mushrooms, leaves, and signs of beaver.
After forest play we caught a bus ride back up for a walk down Woodstock and ended our day at the library with a cozy reading circle.
Thanks so much for the lovely day of play today friends.
