Hello playschool friends!

Many of you have noticed that I haven't been updating our daily adventure stories, and its been quite a while since I've posted here. Whelp, my Mac book went out in December and I've just now gotten around to getting it back up and running. It's nice to be able to engage with this part of my practice again, and share our days with you all.

I have all of the photos and stories of this last month, and will slowly begin catching up with those postings. For now, I'm just gonna jump right back into our days, starting with today.

So lets get to it...

Today our adventures took us on a bus ride to Tabor Space, to meet with some new friends and explore this community venue. Lately our favorite way to pass the time on our bus rides is to sing and practice our songs. And I have to say that leading a group of 4 year old's in singing Earth My Body, complete with pronounced theatrical hand movements for each Element, is my favorite way to ride the bus across town. What a treat for the rest of the bus folk..right? Perhaps not all, but most love it.

On our walks through the neighborhood we stopped all along the way to bless and sing to the emerging Green Bloods pushing up through the earth, welcoming them to the world. We noticed bulbs, and sprouts, and bright green new leaves on so many plant friends today, you could swear its almost Midwinter.

Back at playschool we sat for a lunch of roasted baby red potatoes, and hot bowls of garden soup.

The rest of the day was spent in free play, practicing some drawing, playing kitty games, and helping each other through some big feelings about who got to play the grown up.

After working through all that, I brought the banjo out and invited the kiddos to join me for a dance party and some combined Spanish & music play.

We ended our day in the garden, harvesting some carrots and telling the strawberry beds how excited we are to see them this June.

Enjoy our photo journal of the day!

xo,

Miz Flow
