Monday February 5th, 2018

It was a beautiful and sunny midwinter day today, and we were so very thankful to see and feel the sun with us. We spent most of the day outside, investigating, tumbling, climbing trees, making friends with snails, talking to plants, collaborating on games, and playing kickball around the meadow. We also had a special kitty guest with us for the day who we were all very curious about.

We noticed the Wild Violets and the crocuses in bloom all around the playschool yard, and the delicate little brown mushrooms popping up in all places...but to everyone's disappointment still no strawberries. They've been checking every day. No matter how many times I tell them they'll be here by June, they're still hoping some might be early and they might get the first one. They're all gonna know the strawberry plants and beds like the backs of their hands soon, or something like that.

What a special day for our friend circle!

Enjoy our photo journal and clips from the day.
