Wednesday February 14, 2018

Today we enjoyed our usual Wednesday morning soak and swim time at Kennedy School. I'm noticing how many of our friends have developed or are developing confidence in their relationship to the water, and are much braver (and riskier) in the ways they are beginning to move through the water. Mabel especially, has quickly learned to love and find joy in the water, just in these last few weeks since joining our Wednesday friend circle. It was also Lucio's first swim day with us and they took to the water with very little fear, ready to jump and splash with the bigger, more practiced kiddos.

We took our lunch in the courtyard as usual, finding new ways and stories for play with the umbrellas, and had our always fun lunchtime game of hide-and-seek through the courtyard gardens.

After lunch we hopped the bus back down to the southeast side of town, and spent the afternoon skip-hopping around the neighborhoods, observing the Earth's push towards Spring. We foraged for Wild Violets to snack on, explored open meadows and fields for creatures and flowers, sang to our green blooded friends, and stopped to play in many-a-neighborhood dinosaur gardens.

It was a lovely and adventurous late winter day for all.

Enjoy our shared moments from the day!

xo, Miz Flow
