We were blessed with another sunny day as we roamed about today. It was an extra special day for us as I had the pleasure of introducing some of my friends from out of town to my playschool friends. They joined us in our circle for the day and got to see what we do in our world here in Portland Town. I had a great time hopping around town with baby Isabella cruising on my back and sleeping on my chest, they were so cuddly as the bigger kiddos ran and played, and we shared a lot of really sweet moments.
We took our usual bus ride up to Kennedy School for our weekly soak and swim. Today we were also joined by Elliot & Cora, and I got to share a soaking hour chatting it up with their grown ups and having a sweet ol' time with the kiddos. And I have to say that I think all our "parent~teacher conferences" ought to happen at the soaking pool. Perhaps this will be something we implement in the Fall for our next year of playschool together :)
After our soak and swim time time we held our usual lunch and yard games hour in the courtyard, then caught the Trimet down to Laurelhurst Park. This was our last visit of the Winter, the next time we're here Spring will have arrived so we took some time to reflect upon and Give Thanks for some of the more memorable Winter moments we'd shared with this land and in this place. We observed the changes and noticed how many tree buds and flowers were blooming, changing the whole landscape and flow of the park. It's good to see folks in the park again, its been quiet and near empty these last several weeks.
After Laurelhurst we hopped our last bus of the day and enjoyed a cozy end of day reading and goodbye circle before meeting our parents.
Enjoy some of the moments from our day <3
