Hey there playschool friends!
It was SO very good to see all of you today. We had a great group today, and I got to see some friends I haven't seen for a couple of weeks.
I enjoyed a few too many late nights last week and woke up feeling low, so decided to adapt our usual Wednesday schedule for more local adventures. Seems like everyone was feeling the same and we shared a beautiful and full day together.
I held a morning dance session with Lorax and Sibyl in the kitchen so I could practice my flatfooting.
Lorax, who by relation is often bound to sharing in my morning kitchen dance sessions continues to practice with me and has developed their own style even.
After morning dance party the rest of our friends showed up and everyone was soooo excited to see everyone else and the collective energy was big, and loud. So we headed outside. The rest of the morning was spent in the playschool yard, racing bikes, climbing Grandfather Fir, and walking about the garden.
After a lunch of rice, sweet potatoes, and carrots we got ready to catch our bus up to the library. On our way to the bus stop we found all kinds of spring treasures like our pear trees in full bloom, blue jay leftovers, and other such beautiful things to be in awe of. And Sibyl found a sweet moment to just lay down and say I love you to the land. I was lucky to document it! Their expressions of love for the land made my love for the land glow too. My feet are happy to be walking our walks, holding their hands, and holding down the balance of life here in Portland Town.
After the library we headed down the road to the playground and spent the rest of the afternoon lost in story and play together.
Gettin' back to playschool we sat for a sweet goodbye circle, last snacks, and shared a few last stories before it was time to go home.
Enjoy the peek into our day <3
