Mon. May 7th~ Wed. May 9th, 2018

Hey there playschool friends,

Monday ~ Wednesday of this week were busy days! I got home late sunday night from a week of Beltane travels and adventuring, then woke before the sun every day just to try and catch up with all the werk waiting fer me. Sooo much garden and admin werk! Hope you will still enjoy this condensed version of our daily adventure stories fer Monday to Wednesday.

Anyhow,

Monday was a big garden day for us and I offered a ton of invitations to walk and werk in the playschool yards and gardens with me as I took the day to try and check in and tend to each plant, tree, and flower that grows here with us. I was a bit heart sore to have missed the first blooming of Iris, but we were just in time to see Peony and Columbine open up to the world. We found joy in each and every creature encounter, and took time to watch the ladybugs, bumble bees, honey bees, butterflies, and even the snails who were enjoying our flower filled garden. I was happy to be home, leading our bare feet around on this beloved green square of earth, holding little hands, and singing our songs again. Lorax, Liam, Rosy, Sibyl, Lucio, Cora and Elliot all wandered in and out of my invitations as they would, and enjoyed lots of free play, picnicking, bike riding, lego building, and tree climbing.

Tuesday there was playground and park play in the ol' BD, strolling the Flatz, and greeting our neighbor folk for Lorax, Liam and I.

Wednesday, Lorax, Liam, Sibyl, Mabel, Lucio, Maeve, and I reconvened our usual schedule : Rondezvous > bus ride > morning swim, courtyard lunch & garden play @ Kennedy School > bus ride > afternoon playground play @ Laurelhurst. It was so nice out we scrapped our usual last stop at the library for a reading circle so we could have more time to play outside.

Enjoy the condensed peek into our post Beltane days <3
