Yup.
Today we took one of our last trips to the soaking pool together as a playschool of the year. We were graced by the company of Elliot & Cora's parents and my good friends, Ryan and Brandy. I was thankful for the extra sets of hands, and all the good company fer our morning soak.
The rest of the day was spent in play with plenty of adventure around Portland Town. On our bus rides the kiddos fill the air with their conversation and songs all across town, and are getting really good at striking up conversations with folks on the bus, meeting new people, and sharing their stories. Folks listen to them so intently while they tell them all about their school and how they just get to play all day...it makes me happy to overhear all the good thangs these kiddos say about our days and adventures together. Most folk let them know how lucky they are and how most kids have to go to school in a building, stay inside, and sit at a desk. Few of them can even fathom.
Blessed are We.
May the death of a dying empire come soon.
Let our hearts, hands and bare feet be the midwives of new life.
Anyhow...we shared lotz of hugz and lotz of luv, and got our fill of barefoot running through the grass. Being midweek I thought all of our parents could use just a bit more time so I led a real long game of wildcats chasing the antelope out in the meadow. I was the antelope and they were the lions, lynx, cougars and tigers for almost an hour. I got werd that the magic worked and some of them wildcats fell asleep on the way home.
Enjoy the photo and video journals of our day <3
