Yo.
We started the day with a field trip to one of our neighborhood parks, and passed the morning and midday away running, swinging, climbing, chatting, and picnicking.
Towards afternoon we hopped our bus back to playschool. I set the sprinkler up on the slip and slide and the group spent the rest of the day flowing in and out of water play, listening to tunes, dancing, reading, building things, and jumping on the couch.
I gave a few invitations for them to join me in some garden projects too. we did some learning on how to harvest comfrey leaves, drying them, and how to make a compost tea. We also harvested some calendula fer an upcoming hearth arts invitation. Then i wowed them all by showing them how they could all make their own toys from stuff you find outside. They quickly set about playing out a story line with the creature. Old news fer some, but super cool fer others.
"Woah! Like, you don't even have to buy toys." And this coyote heart burst into a thousand silent prayers of Thanks.
Enjoy the memories of our day <3
