Teaching to the season with the hearth arts at the Moon's Nest. Today my witchlets learned bout preserving fresh melon and pears, cracking walnuts, making tortillas from scratch, and making fresh pesto. They also picked up more skills in urban foraging and harvesting figs, apples and basil. And Giving Thanks. We also scored the most amazing golden rotary telephone in a free box that gave us an afternoon of play and many more to come. We also spent a very long time watching spiders in jars. So many many good and joyful thangs, in place based education.
