Yo folks!
Today we shared a most special day, and played right through it covered in paint, and dirt, and happy all the day long.
It was our new friend Ember's first day of playschool, and I can say that after today, I am SO looking forward to getting to know this friend and feel very special to be invited to be a part of their life. Sibyl and Ember are friends outside of playschool, so it made it all that much more joyful fer tha both of 'em ta be gettin' ta spend the day together here at playschool. Sibyl was super helpful in tellin' Ember all about our playschool agreements, how thangs 'round here flow, n other such detailed stuffs. Ember integrated into our play here with the fluidity of a kiddo who has strong and secure attachment established, and lucky them, their work from here is in purely playing, learning about being a wild~witch~friend, and cultivating their magic. Thanks Ember's family!
Anyhow, like I said, there was painting throughout the day, garden werk, mud kitchen makin', n' very focused toy story play in the outside playroom.
In the garden we found so many mushrooms, whole blooms of them, lots and lots of worms, and still so many bees! This here is year five of nurturing our learning garden in being, and importing loads of organic matter to work the land. So many gifts the land is beginning to give back to us to thank us fer our stewardship, and i'm so very happy to share my little square of city bliss with such good company.
